About LORV Park

A family park on Lake Cumberland

Built by two people who spent years on the lake and in an RV, and wanted somewhere that felt the way a park should.

Our story

Why we built it

Lakeside Oasis RV Park is the dream come true of Randy and Karen: avid boaters, RV enthusiasts and lifelong lovers of Lake Cumberland. After years of travelling in their own RV and countless weekends on the water, they decided to build the place they had always wished existed here, a park where the sites are level, the hookups are right, the grounds are quiet and the lake is minutes away.

They broke ground on the hillside above Grider Hill Dock Road, poured fifty-one concrete pads, ran 30 and 50 amp power, water and sewer to every one of them, fenced the entrance, put in the landscaping, and opened the gates. Friends shortened the name to LORV Park and it stuck, which is why lorvpark.com brings you here too.

Randy and Karen live just down the road. They are hands-on owners, and if you see them working around the park, say hello. They are always happy to talk, share a lake tip or help however they can.

We strive for perfection in everything we do. Clean grounds, honest pricing and a place people are glad to come back to.

As a family-owned and operated park, the standard is simple: keep it spotless, keep it safe, keep it up to date, and treat every guest the way you would want to be treated on your own trip.

The same family runs Lakeside Boat Storage next door, so guests can keep a boat or trailer in enclosed storage a few hundred feet from their site.

Stayed for Labor Day weekend. I messed up the actually day we were coming in and Randy took care of us. We also got there late and Randy helped us get into our spot. Place was very very clean and it was only a 5 minute golf cart ride to the Marina. You could not ask for a better place. Especially going out of the way to help a new to camping guy out like me

Brand new facility! A MUST stay long or short term! Beautiful concrete sites total security fenced in to deture our furry forest friends! A great spot for a photo op at the big adirondack style chair. A Great Dog area and walking trail! Beautiful trees surround the park. The owner was with us every step of the way from booking to greeting us with a welcome package and local menus. Thank you for peace of mind and…

Great area for camping. Spread out, clean, concrete sites, you wont ever have to deal with mud, and convenient by being minutes from the boat ramp and market. Owner was very responsive and friendly. Full-hook up!! The only two things negative would be no shade and no picnic tables. But with that, this is a year old location so both those could change in the future.
